When I was nine years old, somehow I entered for the first time the dark room of one of the few professional photographers at the time.
When a year later I received my first camera, Smena 8, I was extremely proud. In my childish eyes, the play of darkness and light, and its representation on paper was the most wondrous magic, in which I found incredible beauty… and I still do today.
After experimenting with film and later digital photography, I joined the Movie-Photo Club Varna in 2005. Gradually, this fun hobby developed into my profession. This started with the enormous challenge of photographing my first wedding in Maryland, USA in 2006. Upon my return to Bulgaria, I started working at the biggest professional studio in Varna, Photostudio X in 2007.
One of my most interesting professional engagements came in 2011 when I was selected by the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism of Republic of Bulgaria to photograph some of the national archeological and tourism sites for the official online portal www.bulgariatravel.org.
One of the many interesting places I rediscovered through this engagement was the Thracian royal tomb in the village of Sborianovo, near Isperih. The feeling of holding in my hands and photographing some of the oldest gold in the world (from 5000 years BC) was unimaginable.
I specialize in wedding, advertising, fashion and family photography.
